    You can read our Mission Statement and see what we're all about. Gila River Emergency Medical Transportation is dedicated to providing quality pre-hospital care to the Gila River Indian Community, maintaining the highest standard of care possible.

    GREMS in Action!

  • Provide ambulance and Paramedic service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to everyone who lives or works in the Gila River Indian Community as well as any sick or injured people while they are within the boundaries of the community.
  • Maintain equipment and personnel that meet the most current standards set by the State of Arizona.
  • Increase Community awareness of medical emergencies and safety through training and education.
  • Perform our services with professionalism and courtesy to each individual whether they are patients, family members, or employees of any other tribal or non-tribal public service.
  • Adapt to the changing needs of the Community.
  • Gila River EMS works with the Gila River Police Department & Dispatch Center, Gila River Fire Department, the Office of Emergency Management, Gila River Healthcare Corporation, and various other tribal governmental entities to improve the overall healthcare of the community.
