EMS Mission Statement

Gila River Emergency Medical Services is dedicated to providing quality prehospital
care to the Gila River Indian Community, maintaining the highest
standard of care possible.
To achieve this goal, we will:
• Provide Ambulance and Paramedic Service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
to everyone who lives or works in the Gila River Indian Community as well as
any sick or injured people while they are within the boundaries of the
community.
• Maintain equipment and personnel that meet the most current standards set
by the State of Arizona.
• Increase Community awareness of medical emergencies and safety through
training and education.
• Perform our services with professionalism and courtesy to each individual
whether they are patients, family members, or employees of any other tribal
or non-tribal public service.
Adapt to the changing needs of the Community.
